Poverty and lack of access to good schools and roads are some of the issues affecting child education especially in the rural areas. More efforts are on schools in the cities and urban areas while neglecting the need of the rural child.
The conditions of the available schools in the rural/ remote areas are nothing to talk about. Absconding from work and lack of well qualified teachers and teaching materials are some of the issues affecting schools in this country.
Irshadul Ummah Primary school, Yanshana, is a school established to provide free basic education to the children of the village. It has over 30 pupils both boys and girls, and has 4 teachers.

These children are giving free books and other writing materials. The gesture is to encourage the children to attend school as well as get qualitative teaching.
The school is established by Maryam Muhammad as a community project.
